Most print problems are artwork problems. A logo supplied at screen resolution, a file with no bleed, a brand colour built in RGB — each of those costs a reprint if it reaches the press.

Our studio team produces print-ready design and prepares supplied artwork for production. Because the designers sit alongside the presses and the workshop, the file that leaves the studio is one the machines can actually run.

What we produce

  • Brand design — identity, logo development and brand guideline application
  • Print layout — brochures, catalogues, reports and stationery
  • Artwork preparation — fixing supplied files for production: bleed, colour, resolution
  • Campaign design — consistent creative across print, apparel and event branding
  • Vector redraws — rebuilding low-resolution logos as scalable vector art
  • Die and finishing layers — foil, emboss, Spot UV and cut layers set up correctly

Why produce this with Accelerate

We run print and manufacturing in the same business, across two divisions — Brand Studio and Brand Workshop. That means a project needing graphic design alongside other branding does not get split between suppliers, so brand colour stays consistent and there is one person accountable for the deadline.

We are based in Randburg, Johannesburg and deliver nationwide. Every enquiry gets a written quote with a firm deadline within 24 hours on business days.

Graphic Design FAQs

The questions we get asked most about graphic design.

Can you design artwork for us, or do we have to supply it?
Either. Our studio team can design from scratch, work within your existing brand guidelines, or simply prepare artwork you already have for production. Many clients supply their own creative and use us only for the production setup — bleed, colour conversion and finishing layers.
Our logo is low resolution. Can you fix it?
Yes. We redraw low-resolution logos as vector artwork, which then scales to any size — from a pen to a building wrap — without softening. This is worth doing once properly, because a redrawn vector logo becomes the master file for every job that follows.
What does print-ready artwork actually mean?
A file the press can run without changes: correct trim size with 3mm bleed, crop marks, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300dpi, colours built in CMYK or specified as Pantone, and any foil, emboss or Spot UV areas on their own separate layers.
Do you work to existing brand guidelines?
Yes, and we prefer to. Send us your brand guideline document with the logo files and colour references, and we will work inside it. Where guidelines specify RGB or screen colours only, we will advise on the print equivalents rather than guessing.
Can the same design be used across print, apparel and event branding?
Yes, and that is exactly where an in-house studio pays off. Each production method has different constraints — screen printing limits colour counts, engraving is single-colour, large format needs scalable vectors — so we adapt one piece of creative across methods while keeping the brand consistent.
