We run up to 8-colour screen printing on garments, bags, cups and caps, plus UV printing for pens, USB drives, trophies and short-run items. Screen printing is the right call for volume; UV and heat transfer handle short runs and awkward surfaces.

The questions we get asked most about branded apparel.

How many colours can you screen print?

Up to 8 colours. That is enough for detailed logos and illustrated designs without resorting to a photographic process. If your artwork has gradients or photographic detail, dye sublimation or heat transfer usually reproduces it better than screen printing — we will tell you which method suits your design when we quote.

What is the difference between screen printing and dye sublimation?

Screen printing pushes ink through a mesh stencil, one screen per colour. It is durable, cost-effective in volume and ideal for solid brand colours. Dye sublimation bonds the image into the fabric itself, so it handles full-colour photographic designs and all-over prints, and it does not sit on top of the garment as a layer.

Can you print on caps and bags as well as shirts?

Yes. We print caps, beanies, tote bags, drawstring bags, conference bags and cooler bags alongside garments. Doing them in the same job keeps the brand colour consistent across the whole kit, which is the main reason to run apparel and accessories through one supplier.

Do you supply the garments or can we bring our own?

Both are possible. We can source garments as part of the job, or print onto stock you already hold. If you are supplying your own garments, tell us the fabric composition when you request a quote — polyester, cotton and blends each suit different print methods.

What is the best print method for a photographic design on a t-shirt?

Dye sublimation or a full-colour heat transfer. Both reproduce photographic detail and gradients that screen printing cannot hold cleanly. Note that dye sublimation needs a high-polyester fabric to bond properly, so garment choice and print method have to be decided together.
