Accelerate Brand Studio ("we", "us") is the responsible party for the personal information described below, as that term is used in South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains exactly what we collect through this website, why, where it goes and what you can ask us to do about it.

We have written it to describe what the site actually does rather than to cover every theoretical possibility. If we change how the site handles information, we will change this page and update the date above.

Information you give us

When you complete a quote request form on this site, we collect:

• Your name — so we can address you properly
• Email address — to send you the quote
• Telephone number — to call or WhatsApp you about the brief
• Company name (optional) — to understand who we are quoting for
• The service you need and your project details — to price the work

We use this only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out the work if you accept it. We do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of a quote request, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Information collected automatically

Submitted alongside your enquiry, so we know which advert or search brought you to us and can judge which marketing is worth continuing:

• The page you submitted from, its title, and the page that referred you
• Campaign tags present in the web address — utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content
• Advertising click identifiers — gclid (Google Ads) and fbclid (Meta), when present
• The date and time of your submission

These campaign values are held in your browser's session storage — first-party storage that is cleared when you close the tab — purely so they survive if you move between pages before submitting. They are not read for any other purpose.

Anti-spam

Each form contains a hidden field that people never see or fill in. If it arrives completed, we treat the submission as automated and discard it. This checks the submission, not you.

3. Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-3W2ME2QV2D) to understand how people find and use the site — which pages are read, which services are enquired about, and which adverts or searches brought visitors here. We use it to decide where to spend our marketing budget.

Analytics records behaviour, not identity: pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, quote forms started and submitted, device and browser type, and an approximate location (usually city level). Google derives that location from your IP address and does not store the IP address itself. Your name, email and phone number are never sent to Google Analytics — those go only to us, through the form.

What is stored on your device

We set no advertising cookies of our own, and there are no social media trackers, heatmaps or session recorders on this site.

Your choices, and where consent is required

We use Google Consent Mode v2 with settings that vary by region:

• European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland — analytics and advertising storage are denied by default. Nothing is stored on your device unless and until you opt in, as that law requires. Analytics still receives an anonymous, cookieless signal that a page was viewed.
• South Africa and everywhere else — analytics is enabled by default, on the basis of this notice. POPIA does not require prior opt-in for basic website analytics, and we have deliberately kept what we collect to the minimum described above.

You can opt out at any time regardless of where you are:

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site works normally without them
• Install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
• Turn on "Do Not Track" or your browser's tracking protection
• Email sales@acceleratebrandstudio.co.za and we will tell you exactly what we hold

We have not enabled Google Signals, so your activity here is not linked across your devices or joined to your Google account.

Other requests that reach another company

• Google Fonts. Typefaces load from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, so Google receives your IP address as part of that request. No cookie is set.
• WhatsApp links. Choosing to WhatsApp us opens WhatsApp, at which point Meta's own privacy terms apply to that conversation.

If we later add advertising measurement or remarketing, we will update this page before it goes live — not after.

4. Where your information is stored

Quote requests are stored in a private Google Workspace spreadsheet that only our team can open, and a notification email is sent to our sales inbox. We may also receive a WhatsApp notification that a new enquiry has arrived.

Google acts as an operator (a processor) on our behalf, processing the information only as we instruct. Google's infrastructure means your information may be stored on servers outside South Africa. POPIA permits this where the recipient is bound by comparable protection; Google Workspace is contractually committed to data-protection standards that meet that test. We do not transfer your information to any other country or company beyond this.

5. How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for as long as we are in active discussion with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up a repeat order or answer a query about work we did for you. Enquiries that do not lead to work are reviewed periodically and deleted.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below. We may need to keep records of completed transactions for longer where tax or company law requires it.

6. Your rights

Under POPIA you may, at any time and free of charge:

• Ask what we hold about you, and receive a copy
• Have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete
• Have it deleted, where we have no legal reason to keep it
• Object to how we are using it
• Withdraw consent where our use relies on your consent
• Complain to the Information Regulator if you are unhappy with our response

Email sales@acceleratebrandstudio.co.za with "Privacy request" in the subject line and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose someone else's information to the wrong person.

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Enquiries land in an access-controlled Google Workspace account. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affected your personal information we would notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

9. Children

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update this page whenever the way we handle personal information changes — in particular before switching on analytics or advertising measurement — and revise the date at the top.
