Can you make notebooks with our own inside pages?
Yes. Custom insert pages and endpapers are one of the main reasons to have books manufactured rather than buying stock and stamping a logo on the cover. You can build in brand messaging, product information, planning templates or tabbed sections as part of the book.
What is the difference between embossing, debossing and foiling on a notebook cover?
Embossing raises the design above the cover, debossing presses it in, and foiling applies a metallic or matt foil in a chosen colour. Debossing on PU leather is the most common corporate choice because it is understated and hard-wearing. Foiling gives more contrast where the logo needs to stand out.
Do you make dated diaries?
Yes — both dated and undated. Dated diaries need to be planned well ahead of the year they cover, since the page layouts have to be set, proofed and then manufactured. If you are planning a dated range, contact us early in the year rather than close to year-end.
What cover materials do you offer for corporate notebooks?
PU leather, fabric, printed board and laminated card. PU leather is the usual choice for executive gifting because it takes debossing and foiling cleanly and wears well. Printed board suits full-colour cover designs and higher-volume, lower-cost runs.
Can notebooks open flat?
Yes, with the right binding. Casebound and specialised stitched books can be built to open flat, and wire-o binding opens flat and folds back on itself completely. If lay-flat matters for how the book will be used, tell us up front — it is a binding decision, not something that can be added later.
